Scope and status
This policy covers the Pinterest publishing integration being developed for Casava Vogue, an online fashion store. It is intended for authorised Casava Vogue staff to prepare and publish Pins from our own product catalogue to a Pinterest business account that we administer.
The integration is not a customer sign-in method. Shoppers are not asked to connect their Pinterest accounts, and using our website does not by itself authorise access to a Pinterest account. For shopping, accounts, orders and website visitors, see our main Privacy Policy.

Information involved
- Product content: a staff-selected product image, title, description and link to its page on casavavogue.co.ke.
- Business account connection: the authorisation needed to access our connected Pinterest business account and the permissions granted to the integration.
- Publishing details: available boards, the board chosen for a Pin, and the result of a publishing request. Pinterest may return account, board or Pin identifiers as part of these actions.
- Operational records: limited technical information needed to troubleshoot a connection or publishing error and protect the integration.
The intended integration does not send customer names, contact details, order records or payment information to Pinterest as part of a product Pin.
03 / Purpose
How information is used
Authorised staff will select product content and a destination board, review the Pin, and request publication. The integration will use the Pinterest API to access the authorised business account, show its available boards, submit the selected Pin and confirm whether the request succeeded. It is not intended to publish every product automatically.
Access to a Pinterest account requires authorisation through Pinterest. We do not ask staff or customers to give us their Pinterest password or session cookies. This policy does not cover advertising, conversion tracking or access to customer Pinterest accounts; we would update it before adding materially different uses.
05 / Control
Access and retention
Authorisation credentials are needed only while the business account connection is active. Access will be limited to staff who need to operate the integration. Technical records may be kept as needed for security, troubleshooting and applicable obligations; they are not a separate archive of other Pinterest users' content.
An authorised account administrator can revoke the app's access through Pinterest or ask us to disconnect it. Revoking access stops future API requests using that authorisation, but it does not automatically remove Pins already published on Pinterest or records Pinterest retains under its own policy. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices
Contact us to ask about the information we handle through this integration, request correction or deletion where applicable, or report a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request comes from someone authorised to manage the connected business account. For customer data rights and website information, use the request options in our main Privacy Policy.
Simply viewing this page does not connect a Pinterest account. Standard website request logs and browser storage are described in the main policy.
